Meet the Founder
Dr. Kristin is a clinical audiologist, yoga instructor, and the founder of Grounded Hearing PLLC. Since beginning her audiology career in 2016, she has gravitated toward the human side of hearing health—prioritizing counseling, patient education, and the development of treatment plans that fit patients' personal lives in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.
Throughout her years in clinical practice, Dr. Kristin recognized a critical gap in traditional care: the need for dedicated tinnitus support that extends beyond the time constraints of a standard hearing exam. This sparked the development of Grounded Hearing PLLC, which offers tinnitus care rooted in mindfulness. Her approach applies clinical expertise, including a Certificate in Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) from the American Academy of Audiology. She is a licensed clinical audiologist in the state of Massachusetts. She is also a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.
In 2023, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, allowing her to seamlessly integrate mindfulness, meditation, and a holistic approach with evidence-based audiological protocols. Through this unique combination of skills, she helps patients move confidently toward a sense of grounding and ease.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Kristin finds her own balance in the garden, exploring local coffee shops, and enjoying the outdoors with family.
